Egyptian Sarcophagi

Egyptian art and culture is fascinating! The students enjoyed learning about hieroglyphics, cartouches, mummies and King Tutankhamun's sarcophagus. Here are the students wonderful sarcophagi and mummies. 

Ceramic Leaf Bowls

Fall ceramic leaf bowls are a favorite! We learn about leaves and why they change color and fall to the ground. We also learn to press, cut and slump clay. Using fall colored glazes, we learn to color wash, layer and create texture to add visual interest to our bowls. They are so beautiful!
